The STEPP MANUFACTURING SMMT pairs a 275,000 BTU Beckett forced-air diesel burner with a rotating pugmill mixer to recycle millings into 350 F hot mix at up to 1 ton per hour, even at 20 F ambient. Five-cubic-foot batches reach 300 to 350 F in 8 to 15 minutes depending on moisture. The pugmill features a replaceable Endura wear-resistant steel liner and variable-speed hydraulic drive. A 16 in wide cleated chevron loading conveyor with hydraulic forward/reverse feeds material smoothly. Fiberglass and Cerwool insulation (2 in each) lock heat in. This new 2026 unit rides a single-axle trailer weighing approximately 3,650 lb, with overall dimensions of 166 in L x 78 in W x 85 in H. Budget approximately 1.5 to 3 gallons of oil additive per ton of recycled millings.
