0.25 mm (0.01 in) incremental depth adjustment is finer than most competing drum units, so operators can remove paint or rubber without scarring the underlying surface. Six drum wheels with centre-line sensing on four of them hold the drum true across uneven surfaces, and the variable 400–800 mm width lets a single tool handle both narrow centre lines and wide runway rubber zones. All-weather, year-round operation means airfield and DOT crews stay productive outside traditional paving windows.
