2026 Stepp Manufacturing SPH-2.0 (3 Ton) Gravity Discharge Hot Box
This is a new 2026 Stepp Manufacturing SPH-2.0 (3 ton) Gravity Discharge Hot Box, a trailer-mounted asphalt hot box with a 2.0 cubic yard / 3 ton hopper capacity. The air-jacketed gravity discharge design lets material flow down the sloped hopper to the shovel platform for dispensing, with no auger or pump. A center heat riser in the middle of the hopper directs heat where it is needed, with recirculating internal exhaust.

The unit features a stainless steel shovel platform and stainless steel burner box, plus a top door lift assist with gas-operated shocks. The base unit includes a burner, electric brakes, and a 2-light system. The frame is built from 2 in x 6 in x 3/16 in rectangular steel tubing with a one-piece shackle. It can keep hot mix up to temperature, warm up cold patch, or reclaim asphalt.
