2026 Stepp Manufacturing SPH-2.0 (3 Ton) Gravity Discharge Hot Box
This 2026 Stepp Manufacturing SPH-2.0 is a new gravity discharge hot box with a 2.0 cubic yard (3 ton) hopper capacity. The trailer-mounted, air-jacketed hopper is sloped so material flows down to the shovel platform for dispensing, with no auger or pump. A center heat riser sits in the middle of the hopper with recirculating internal exhaust, and the unit uses a 2 in x 6 in x 3/16 in rectangular steel tubing frame with a one-piece shackle.

The unit includes a stainless steel shovel platform and stainless steel burner box, a top door lift assist with gas-operated shocks, a burner, electric brakes, and a 2-light system. This unit is equipped with flush mounted strobe lights (set of 2), two stainless steel tool holders, an LP hand torch, a 100 lb bottle rack, a 100 lb LP cylinder, a shovel cleaning compartment with gate valve, a tread plate platform, and hydraulic dump. It can keep hot mix up to temperature, warm cold patch, or reclaim asphalt.
