Class 7 certification is the gap nobody else fills in the electric-sweeper market, lighter-duty EVs exist, but DOT-grade operations couldn't buy a real Class 7 electric until Global built this one. The 250 kWh battery plus Level III DC Fast Charging keeps the truck on the street instead of tethered to the charger, and eliminating DPF/DEF/transmissions removes three of the biggest service-interval cost centers on conventional sweepers.
