A leaf route includes pickup, transport and unloading. The collection equipment needs to move material through all three steps. A self-contained trailer carries its vacuum and collection box together, keeping the same collection package on the route from curbside pickup through transport to the disposal site.

The 2026 Tarco Hurricane 4025DR is a demo leaf trailer with 3.4 recorded chassis engine hours. The Hurricane design combines a vacuum assembly, collection hopper and trailer, with a hoist for unloading. Its DR collection-box design directs airflow downward to reduce airborne dust and particles. The Hurricane collects leaves, litter, grass and roadside debris for curbside routes, parks and grounds maintenance.
