This new SPH-3.0 pairs a 3.0 cubic yard, 4 ton hopper with dual gas-assist guillotine discharge doors and a triple-wall design featuring a center heat riser and recirculating internal exhaust. The 10 gauge inner tank, 12 gauge heat jacket, and 16 gauge outer shell with 2 inch high-temp fiberglass insulation maintain material temperature across the pour window. An electronic thermostat with digital LED display gives the operator precise control from 0 to 550 degrees F. The heated 1/4 inch 304 stainless shovel platform sits 29 inches from ground, and the tandem-axle trailer with 14,000 lb GVWR and electric brakes with breakaway kit handles highway and site duty.
