Match the right nozzle to the problem: roots, grease, or debris
ENZ is a Swiss nozzle manufacturer that builds specialized sewer-jetting heads engineered around specific pipe conditions: routine maintenance, root intrusion, grease, scale, and heavy debris. The platform's design philosophy is that no single nozzle does every job well, so the catalog is organized around matching the right cutting geometry to the actual line condition. The result is faster cleaning per shift and longer service life on the nozzle inventory because the wrong nozzle isn't grinding itself down on the wrong application.
The lineup spans the Bulldog (heavy root cutting, controlled rotation with aggressive water jets), the Golden Jet (routine mainline maintenance), descaling and grease-cutting tools, and specialty heads for tap-and-protrusion work. Built to Swiss machining standards, which shows up in tighter tolerances and longer wear life vs. lower-cost commodity nozzles. Brown Equipment Company stocks the ENZ heads most commonly spec'd by municipal sewer crews and runs same-day shipping upon request from our Indianapolis distribution center on routine wear items.

ENZ: Common Buyer Questions
Answers to the questions municipal fleets and contractors ask most often before specifying ENZ equipment.
- Why does picking the right nozzle matter?
- A nozzle's geometry (jet count, jet angle, rotation type, water pressure rating) is tuned for a specific application. Use a root cutter on routine maintenance and it grinds itself down on light debris that didn't need the cutting force. Use a routine maintenance nozzle on roots and the line doesn't clear, you do three passes instead of one, and the nozzle still wears out. Matching the nozzle to the line condition cuts crew time, fuel, and nozzle inventory cost. The ENZ catalog is organized around that matching, not around one nozzle doing everything.
- When do I spec the Bulldog?
- Heavy root intrusions, established root masses, and lines where standard jetting hasn't worked. The Bulldog combines controlled rotation with aggressive water jets to shear root material at the pipe wall without scoring the host pipe. For lines with only light root presence, the Golden Jet plus a follow-up pass typically clears the work without the wear cost of running the Bulldog.
- Does ENZ fit my existing jetter?
- Drop-in compatible with most municipal jetter and combination truck water systems on standard hose connections. Specific pipe diameter and pressure ratings need to match. BEC can confirm fit before you order.
- What service and parts support does BEC offer for ENZ?
- Most-spec'd ENZ heads stock at our service centers. Same-day shipping upon request from our Indianapolis distribution center on routine wear items, with longer lead times on specialty heads ordered directly from Switzerland.
